Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with heart disease surrounded by his loving family in St. John's, Ray Russell of St. John's, formerly of Lethbridge, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Emmie Russell, brothers Edward, Sam, Tom, sister Emily. Left with fond and loving memories his wife June of 59 years, children Winston (Eve), Arlene Penney (Keith), Cory (Tracy); grandchildren Joy (Darren), Nicole(John), Robyn (Troy), Jacob, Jonathon; sister Bessie Oldford; brother Herman Russell (Daphne);sisters in law Clara, Rosie, Edith Stead (Alonzo), Peggy Holloway, Vera March; brother in law Laverne (Phyllis) and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Remains will be resting at Fewer's Funeral Home in Lethbridge on Monday, May 19th and Tuesday, May 20th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral to take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 2 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel Musgravetown with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lethbridge. In his memory donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
