Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, May 17th, 2014, at the age of 75. Lovingly known as Andy to his family and Ponch to his friends. Predeceased by his Wife Dulcie (Nee Barfoot), parents Thomas and Margaret, Brother Austin, and brother - in - laws Doug and George. Lovingly remembered by, Daughters Andrea Noftall (John), and Kathy Stevens (Gilbert), Grandchildren Courtney Stevens, Cassidy and Parker Noftall. Brother and Sisters Marge (Fred) Hammond, Tom (Susanne) Littlejohn, Agnes (Phonse) Ryan, Bea (Charlie) Power. In laws Carmel Littlejohn, Clarence (Beryl) Barfoot, Phyllis Barfoot and Edna Jaroma as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends and in particular his warm and compassionate caregiver Lisa. Andy/Ponch was a longtime employee of Metrobus where he worked until his debilitating stroke in 1989. Funeral services has been entrusted to Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 21st and Thursday May 22, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 23rd, 2014, at 11:30a.m. at St. Teresa's Church in St. John's, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
