Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the L.A. Miller Centre, P.C.U., age 57 years. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and William; father - in - law Fred Sullivan; brother - in - law Alex Rose and nephew Adam Rose. Leaving to mourn his wife Yvonne Gillard (nee Sullivan); children Matthew, Laurel (Adam) and Billy; siblings Robert (Sonya), David (Dorothy) and Marie (Jack); mother - in - law Marie (Fred) Sullivan; sisters - in - law Mary Rose, Evelyn (Scott) Warren and Colleen (Fabian) Ward; brothers - in - law Robert (Adele) Sullivan, Joey (Tillie) Sullivan, Frank (Marie) Sullivan, Freddie (Anita) Sullivan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, close friends and co - workers especially Keith, Rick, Dick and Bill. Thanks also to all the doctors and nurses at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, Health Science Centre, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit. Visitation from Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Thursday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 12 noon from Caul's Chapel.
