BROWN, JOAN – Joan Bernice Brown passed away peacefully on May 22, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born April 2, 1933 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Henry & Beatrice Henriksen. She will be remembered as a caring, giving friend of many. She loved gardening, belonging to the Red Hats and was frequently seen at auctions and garage sales. She will be missed by all that she touched. Joan is survived by loving daughter Joanne (Bob) of Spruce Grove, AB; grandchildren Myrena, Christopher, Joey (Kayla); great-grandchildren Jordyn and Riley; and her best friend Zoey. Besides her parents Joan was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years Victor.
