It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Barry Carter announce his ­sudden passing at the Health Science Complex in St. John's, NL on Friday, May 23rd, 2014, at the age of 54 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife, Pansy (nee Park); his daughter, Terra Fifield (Darry) and his son, James Roland (Candace); his grandson, Logan Fifield and an expected grandson, Elliot; his mother, Mrs. Susan Carter; his sisters: Debbie Carter (Steve), Sherri Carter (Monty), Judy Carter (Rick), Pearl Bennett (Reggie), Pansy Marsden; his brothers: Terry Carter, Rick Carter (Tracey), Todd Carter (Joanne) and Scott Carter (Christine). Barry also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Barry was predeceased by his father, James Carter in 1998 and his sister, Denise in 1975. The family will be receiving ­family and friends on Monday, May 26th, 2014 at St. David's Anglican Church in Pasadena, NL from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., where also the funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 27th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Pearson officiating. Burial to follow at St. David's Anglican Church in Pasadena, NL.
