COOK, RAYMOND M - Raymond M. Cook of Hartland, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born in 1933 and was the son of the late Carvell and Marie Cook. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Naida Cook in May of 2011; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alban and Marguerite Page; brother, Malcolm and sister-in-law Marion Cook; sister Glenna and brother-in-law James Derrah; sister-in law, Elinor Haywood; brothers-in-law, Earl Carde, Roy Smith, Glen Page, Walter Cook and Dalton Page.
Raymond is survived by his son, Peter (Trish) Cook of Hartland; daughter, Terry (William) Bubar of Upper Brighton; grandchildren, Benjamin (Laura McIntosh) Cook, Caleb (Darcy Cummings) Cook, Bryce Cook, Connor Cook, Beth Anne (Peter) Johnston, Julie (Rob Henry) Bubar; great grandchildren Aiden Johnston, Will Henry; sisters, Laurel Anne Smith of Hartland, Muriel Carde of Peterborough, Ontario; sisters-in-law, Marie Page of Woodstock, Muriel (Hugh) Smith of Hartland, Donalda (Alton) Fox of Fredericton; brothers-in-law, Floyd (Helen) Page of Coldstream, Stephen (Shirley) Haywood of Somerville; nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. from the Hartland Wesleyan Church, 115 Somerville Road, Somerville. A private Interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at a later time. If so desired donations can be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). www.brittonfh.ca
