Passed away after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at Scarborough, Ont., Dec. 23, Pat Carew, at age 71. Predeceased by his loving wife Flora (Noseworthy) in 2004; his mother and father Thomas and Annie Carew; brother Calvin and sister Gertrude Heffernan. He leaves to mourn his daughter Sue (Marco); his four sons: Jeff (Nancy); Don (Carol); Ward (Grace); Pat (Georgia); 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Tom (Janet), in P.E.I.; Bren (Rita); Harold (Marian); Marg Sooley; Jose Heffernan (Kevin); Madeline Heffernan (Bill); Charlotte O’Rielly (Brian); and their families.
