CARR, ISOBEL - With sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Isobel Carr, loving wife of the late Donald R. Carr, at her residence on May 23, 2014. Born February 6, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Steward) Preston. Besides her parents. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, her son Christopher, sisters Margaret, Ruth, Janet, and brother George. Isobel is survived by her son Wayne (Randy) of Fredericton; son Robert (Susan) of Saint John, daughter Diana (Raymond) Morgan of Middle Musquodoboit, NS and daughter –in-law Bennedy Carr of Saskatchewan, beloved grandchildren Corey Carr (Kristen), Michael (Alicia), Matthew and Samantha Morgan, as well as her brother Reginald (Shirley) Preston and special niece Sharon Perry.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visitation on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, Salvation Army, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
