DICKSON, LEWIS P. - 1934 - 2014 - Miramichi - Lewis Plenny Dickson, husband of Carole R. Dickson, of Riverside Drive, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the age of 79. Born in Chatham, on November 21, 1934, he was the son of the late Melvin H. and Isla G. (Lewis) Dickson. He was the owner/operator of Scott's Pharmasave, Miramichi; a member of St. Andrews United Church; a former member of Session and Elder; a member of the Miramichi Sportsman's Club; member of the Miramichi Boat & Yacht Club; a former member of the Chatham Lions Club; member of the Downtown Merchant's Assoc.; a member of R.C.A.F.A 254 Wing, Miramichi; a former Director with the Miramichi Agricultural Exhibition Assoc.; former member of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce; Member and past chairman of the Riverside Cemetery Co. Ltd. He is survived by his wife, the former Carole Roxana Redden; one son, Bruce Dickson (Colleen), of Miramichi; two grandchildren, Christine and Elizabeth Dickson; one sister, June MacDougall (John), of Miramichi. He was predeceased by one daughter, Leslie Dickson-Daigle; his step-mother, Hulda Dickson. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi, on Friday, May30, 2014, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi, N.B.
