BOURGEOIS, CLARENCE - 1921 - 2014 - Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB – Clarence Bourgeois, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24th, 2014. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Séraphine “Sara” Bourgeois (nee Cormier). He retired from Lanes Bakery; a former member of the Golden Age Club at Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedrale. Clarence will be sadly missed by his three sons, Louis Bourgeois of Fredericton, NB, Roger Bourgeois of Bouctouche, NB and Georges Bourgeois (late Susan) of Moncton; his three sisters, Claudia McLeran (late Ronald) of Jonquière, QC, Bernice Gallant (Ron) of St.-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC, and Huberte “Betty” Nicolle (Nick) of Moncton, NB; by his granddaughter, Jessica Bourgeois (Shawn Harris) of Moncton, NB; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Clarence was predeceased by his wife, Rita Bourgeois (nee Bastarache) (2007); his daughter, Georgette (1955); his four sisters, Rita Boudreau (late Emile), Florine Poirier (late Gérald), Gérène Poirier (late Raymond), Louise Bourgeois; his two brothers, Euclide (late Irene) and Gérard (late Cécile); by his great grandson, Tyler Noah Harris (2014).
Visitation will be held Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road, Moncton on Saturday, May 31st, 2014 from 9:30 am till the time of service. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Funeral Chapel at 11:00 am, with Father Yvon Cormier officiating. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB at later date.
