It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, great - grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Passed peacefully away on May 26, 2014 in the presence of her family at the Health Science Complex. Ann Martin (Kavanagh) aged 82 years of Torbay. Predeceased by her husband Alex (2000); son Kenneth; mother and father Mary and William Kavanagh; sister Helena; brothers James, Jack (Lucy - deceased); Greg and Sol; son - in - law Mike Kavanagh as well as members of the Kavanagh and Martin families. Leaving to mourn her three daughters and one son Marilyn Coady (Wayne), Barb Kavanagh, Al Martin, Marie Codner (Barry); grandchildren Connie Shea, Deanne Gibbons (Mark), Michael Kavanagh (Shannon), David Martin, Cyril Coady (Christine), Andrew Codner (Ashley), Maryann Codner (Gavon) and Daniel Codner; great grandchildren Ryan (Krista), Connor and Brady Gibbons, Lucas and Brooke Coady and "Nanny's girl" Hannah Short (her mother Helen); sisters Theresa Carroll (John - deceased) and Josephine Newell (Dick) and very special nieces, nephews, as well as a large circle of close family and friends. She was "Mommy Ann" to many children. Her squeals will be missed by her buddies at darts, cards and bingo. She lived each day to the fullest and was an inspiration to all. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, TORBAY on Wednesday from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Parish. Interment to follow at R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Holy Trinity Parish.
