It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Theresa Tobin announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Lorraine (Francis) Cormier, Sally Tobin, Rona (Roy) Still, Jocelyn (Joseph) Hoskins, Jackie (Diane) Tobin; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael Finton Tobin; parents Wallace and Josephine Hawkins; daughter Elizabeth (Robert) Still; siblings: Dorothy Downey, Madelaine Madore, Agnes Hawkins, Andrew Hawkins, and Lawrence Hawkins. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, May 30, 2014 from Assumption Church, Stephenville Crossing at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Camacho Officiating. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Inurnment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing following the service.
