Clarence Langmead

On May 27, 2014, after a lengthy illness, Clarence Langmead went home at the age of 85, showing great courage and strength. In the final days of his life he was held, hugged, loved, kissed and sung to by his family in the comfort of his own home. We cried the day he left us, but we know that he is now amongst his precious family that had gone home before him: his beautiful wife Effie, his mother and father (Albert and Irene Langmead), his brothers James and Henry (Harry) and sister Blanche Lax, brothers-in-laws Val Butler and Ralph Sullivan Leaving to mourn are his loving daughter Linda (Bob ), Son Boyd (Petra) and their children Sascha and Jacqueline. Rodney, who has lost his hero (Tina) and their children Sarah and Kayla; Sisters : Joan Sullivan (predeceased Ralph), Vera Pretula (Mitch), Jessie Butler (Val), Sylvia Moran (Nick), Beverly Mitchell (William); Brothers: Russell (Shirley), Albert (Alice) Norman (Joan) , sisters-in-laws Ethel Langmead and Gladys Chislett, a large number of his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, and his two special pets Molly and Maggie. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home in Torbay on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 7-9 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday at All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at all saints Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Clarence's memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Centre.
