FRAME, Lorne Vincent, 82- Truro, formerly of Port Hastings and Gays River , passed away peacefully May 27, 2014 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Gays River, he was a son of the late Albert and Agnes (Cottam) Frame. He was a carpenter by trade and a former part time lobster fisherman. Lorne was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer hunting, trout fishing, fur trapping and was an exceptional gardener. He was a competitive card player, enjoyed card parties and he and his wife were enthusiastic bowlers. He was employed for 28 years at Stora Forest Industries at Point Tupper. He will be sadly missed by his wife Eleanor (Moore), Truro; sons Howard (Nancy), Folly Mountain; Frank, Truro; granddaughter Jennifer, Geneva, Switzerland; Matthew, Calgary, Alberta; brother Donald (Frances), Gays River; sister Linda Clarke, Bible Hill; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Doris Lake. Visitation will be 7-9pm Friday in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held 3pm Saturday May 31, 2014 in Gays River United Church, Gays River, Lori Crocker DM officiating. Interment will take place in the Gays Rive Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
