Gisele Patricia Merkowsky
May 23, 1980 – May 26, 2014

It is with great sadness that we the family of Gisele Merkowsky announce her passing at the age of 34, after a long battle with Lupus. Gisele leaves to mourn her husband Lance Merkowsky; two daughters Jordyn and Hanna; mother Jeannine LaGrandeur (Grant LaPointe); stepdad Tim LaGrandeur; father Brian Waddell; sister Vikki Waddell (Jeff Anderson) & niece and nephew Monika & Jarin; brothers Clint (Stacey) Bassett & & nephew & niece Brandon & Kiera; Mathew LaGrandeur (Shelby Donald) & nieces Aubrey & Emmie; grandparents Gerald and Brenda Wortman; mother and father-in-law Armand and Louise Merkowsky; brother and sister-in-law Andy and Nicole Ratzlaff & nephews Tristen & Kayden & niece Ava-Rose. She was predeceased by her grandparents Patricia Weldon and Alain Lepine and Alester and Hazel Waddell. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014. Both services will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
