Mrs. Eva Greenland of Coley’s Point peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord on December 16, 2008 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Frank in September 1999, she leaves to mourn her daughter, Carol De Waal and husband, Albert of Ponoka, Alta.; sons Boyd and wife Catherine of Sound River; Lewis and wife Judy of St. John’s; grandchildren: Rick, Jason (Johanne), Christine and Ashley; her sister Mary Dawe of St. John’s; brother Edward Barrett and wife Olive of Bay Roberts; sisters-in-law Violet Barrett of St. John’s and Edith Greenland of Clarke’s Beach; as well as an extended family of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Slade’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts on December 27 from 7 to 9:30 p.m., December 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and December 29 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The funeral services will be held on December 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Coley’s Point, N.L. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery.
