REA, AMY H. - Amy H. Rea, 90, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2014, to go Home with her Lord and Saviour. Born in Berryton, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Laura (Ricker) Power. Amy was a loving wife, sister and aunt and a member of Parkside Baptist Church. She was a member of the Lois Winters W.M.S. and the Awana Group within her church, Secretary for the Child Evangelism Fellowship Mailbox Club and a member of the Beausejour Curling Club. Amy will be sadly missed by her sisters, Eileen Fenton of Quispamsis and Emma Gross (Clyde) of Riverview; special niece, Debbie Power Geldart, of Moncton, with whom she resided; as well as several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) A. Rea (1995); sisters, Effie Milton, Sadie Constantine and Nellie Kendrick; and brothers, Hansel, Gordon, Rowley and Leo.
Resting at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) with no visitation hours by personal request. Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 4:00 pm with Pastor Chris White officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Amy’s memory, donations to the Child Evangelism Fellowship or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
