MacDONALD, KENNETH - It is with great sadness the family of Kenneth Roy MacDonald announces his passing on May 30,2014. He spent many years having great adventures with them. He devoted 30 years to the Saint John Fire Department, retiring as Captain in 1996. For him, his fellow firefighters were his second family, sharing many, memorable moments. Kenny is survived by his daughters, Patty Welling, Tammy Ellefsen, Laura MacDonald, and Marley Hodder. Also survived by his grandchildren, Aimee, Ryan, Pierre, Heidi, C.J., Kayla, Courtney, Celeste, Kelsy, Carley, Ayjay, Megan, Alexander, and Laura; his great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Dayne, Livia, and Jorden,; and his brothers, Clarence "Sonny", Alexander "Sandy", Dennis, Peter, and Timothy, and extended family.
