It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Lloyd Butt on May 23, 2014, at the age of 76. Loving husband of Eleanor (nee Thomas). Cherished father of David, Deborah, Doug, Lloyd, Penny, and Cheryl. Treasured papa of David, April, Desiree, Caitlin, Joey, Sarah, Barbara, Elvis, Alaina, Abigail, James, Braeden, Hannah, Tyson, Thomas, and Blake. Predeceased by his parents William and Marion, and his brothers Winston, Edgar, and Adam. He will be sadly missed and survived by his sisters Flora, Margaret, Jessie, Mary and Barbara. Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, and well as the rest of his family and friends. Lloyd or Buttsy was also a proud long member of Heat and Frost Insulators Local 95 and Orangeman, Britannia. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Vera Abbot, took place on Friday, May 30 from the Britannia United Church, with interment following at the United Church Cemetery, Britannia.
