February 5, 1951 - May 30, 2014: Beloved husband, father, poppy, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family after a short battle with cancer at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on May 30, 2014, Charlie Kane of Renews. Predeceased by his precious son Patrick, parents Tom and Maggie Kane, father-in-law Tommy Chidley, brother Ronnie, brother-in-law Pat Hamilton, nephew Joey Kane. Leaving with wonderful memories, his loving wife of 33 years, Sharon; sons Michael, Andrew (Danielle Dunne); daughter Heather (Jason Marshall), beloved grandchildren Isabella and her mom Michelle Hynes, Alex and Lexi Kane; five brothers: Frank (Marg), Albert (Jocelyn), Eugene (Bev), Paul (Jackie), and Gerard (Heather); six sisters: Evelyn Hamilton, Mary (Eric) Dunne, Rosalie (Leo) Stead, Teresa (Adolf) Mann, Josephine (Jerry) Johnson, Diane (Laurie) Sullivan, mother-in-law Celine (Chidley) and Bernard King; brothers-in-law Ken (Phyllis) Chidley, Roland (Maria) Chidley, sisters-in-law Gloria (Bob) Burke, Teresa (David) Chidley, Susan (Austin) Hann. Also, special aunts Sister Teresa Devine, and Madeline Berrigan. Leaving as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation to be held at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, June 1; 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday, June 2; and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 3. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Holy Apostles Church, Renews on Tuesday, June 3 at 2:00 pm. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in Charlie's memory may be made to Dr. H.S.
