Kevin Vautour
VAUTOUR, KEVIN LEE - The family of Kevin Lee Vautour, devoted husband to Kathy Vautour (Halassy), is saddened to announce his passing which occurred with his family surrounding him at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was 51 years old. Born in Saint John on June 9, 1962, Kevin was a life-long West Sider, the son of the late Edgar Vautour and his surviving Mother, Catherine Vautour (White). Upon finishing high school Kevin went on to work at the Bank Of Canada until its closure at which time he started his career at Air Canada. Kevin worked as an agent, coach and trainer for 17 years and was affectionately known as "Special K". Kevin loved and doted on his wife and children so much so that life without him seems impossible He was as thoughtful as he was funny and he will be forever missed by many. Kevin loved life, a good joke, making people laugh and coffee. He was bigger than life, and because of this was well loved and admired by many. Tim Hortons, a hockey rink, a football field or his home in West Saint John are all places that will remind us of this sweet selfless man who would do anything for anyone. Besides his wife Kathy of 27 years he is survived by his four beautiful boys: Dustin, Nicholas, Elliot and Zachary and one chosen son Aaron Wilson. Kevin is also survived by his brother Brian Vautour (Sherry) and sister Joanne Vautour. Kevin had many special friends and was considered a brother to all of Kathy's family, both the Halassy's and the McCaskills. He will be tenderly remembered by us all.
