CURRAN, JOHN - At the Ottawa General Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario, April 11, 2014, John Sedgefield Curran, WWII veteran of the 8th hussars. Son of the late Robert and Helen (Watson) Curran. Survived by his wife, Ruth (Lever) Curran; son, Raymond; daughter-in-law, Vicki; granddaughter, Emily; grandson, Matthew; niece, Patricia Cameron, and nephew, Robert Hill. He was predeceased by one brother, Gilbert, and one sister, Ruth.
A funeral service will be held from The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on June 10, 2014 from 1 to 2 PM. Royal Canadian Legion Branch #9 will conduct a last post service following the service. Interment at Oak Bay Cemetery, Oak Bay, N.B. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
