WITHROW, HELEN - Helen Withrow (Miller) after 87 years, passed away May 30th in the arms of her only child. Helen can now join Herbert, her husband of 57 years, on their next journey and they will be able to jive and waltz together again. She will once again meet her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Helen was born and lived in the Rothesay area her entire life. Her sister Betty Miller survives her. She loved hosting and playing bridge with her friends. Helen was a member of Kings Way Assembly Church where she and Herb loved their time reading and discussing scripture. She worked in the business office of Riverside Golf and Country Club for 10 years. Her favorite place to visit in later years was Tim Horton’s where she would spend her afternoon getting caught up on the news and making good friends. Her grandchildren loved going to nannies house to have her amazing sugar cookies and while visiting she would make all three kids new knit sweaters. She also made beautiful smocked dresses for her granddaughter and rompers for her grandsons, which the boys thought looked more like dresses. She was also able to get to know her three great-grandsons at several Christmas vacations after her husbands’ passing. Helen has a baby girl, great granddaughter on the way.
