ALLABY, RODD MASON - 1959-2014 - Rodd Allaby of Moncton passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born in Moncton, NB., he was the son of the late Hugh and Annie Allaby (Mason). He was known to many as the big man with the big heart. Rodd was a retired transport owner/operator for Day and Ross Moncton and former owner of Allaby’s Convenience Store in Riverview before he retired. He most enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Catherine (Thompson); daughters, Vicki George and Kate (Dev) Boutilier both of Moncton; son, Curtis of Nunavut; brother, Dave (Cathy) of Riverview; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jocelyn and Justin. Gigi will forever be in the hearts of his grandchildren Cassidy, Gabriel and Xavier.
