Our mom is safe in the loving arms of Jesus passing on June 7th 2014 in her 87th year. Born December 25th 1927 in the Tickles at Salmonier. Daughter of the late David and Annie Dobbin. Theresa is predeceased by her brothers; Leonard, William, John and also by her eldest child Bernard Jr. She is held in loving memory by her surviving siblings; Elizabeth Hawco, Ellen Dakins, Albert Dobbin, Raymond Dobbin (all in Ontario), Veronica Widenhofer (Pennsylvania, USA) and Angela Murphy (Marystown, NL). Also left behind with love filled memories are her daughter; Michelle (Wayne) Sczepanski (Ontario) and son; Paul (Harriett) King (St.John's, NL), four beautiful grandchildren; Sarah (Reid) Denby and Andrew (Ontario), Colin and Kayla (NL), and her precious great grandson Maxwell (Ontario). Theresa will be fondly remembered by; Bernard and Celine King, Rick Kelly, John Puddicombe, Jean and Art Lannon, Damien Kelly, the Sczepanski family, a large circle of nieces and nephews, her friends in Dunville, NL where she resided for many years, her extended family at Karwood Retirement Retreat (Paradise, NL) and special friends Keith (Geraldine) Critch, Ellie (Don) Squires and their families (all in Ontario). A special thank you to the staff of 4 North A, 5 North A and 4 South B at the Health Sciences Centre. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Wednesday, June 11th from 11:00am to 1:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
