(June 14, 1941 - June 10, 2014) Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Frederic G. Squires, in his 73rd year. Predeceased by his parents, Frederick C. and Mary (nee Murphy) Squires. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife Joan (nee Pennell) Squires; daughter Kimberley Caines (Todd); son Tim Squires; step-daughter Tish Walsh; five grandchildren; sisters: Maureen Squires (North Carolina, US) and Beverley Fleming (New York, US); as well as special cousins and many friends. Special thank you to the medical staff of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, 7th Floor West, for their care and comfort during Fred's final days. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, June 12, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm, and on Friday, June 13, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from St. Patrick's Parish, on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:30am. Interment will take place at a later date.
