It is with great joy that the family of the late Edwin “Eddie” Christopher ­celebrate his life and passing on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Long Term Care Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife, Louise (nee Gillam); daughter, Wendy Christopher-Pauls (Brian); sisters: Mona (Mike), Thelma and Betty (George); brother, Dermot (Christina); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Frederick Christopher; brothers: Malcolm (Macky), June (Florence); sister, Juanita; brother-in-law, Terry. Family will be receiving friends from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 16 at 10:30 a.m. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue, with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
