Mabel Phyllis Curtis (1932-2014):With sadness, but with the blessing of having shared so many wonderful years of her life, we regret to announce, on June 11, 2014, the peaceful passing at Bonavista hospital of Mabel Phyllis Curtis, B(ED). A devoted teacher for many years, the last number of which she taught in Clarenville until her retirement. She is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Reginald Curtis and brother Lloyd. Leaving to mourn are nephew, Robin Curtis, niece, Andrea (Joe) Maloney, her cherished grand niece and nephew, Rebecca and Joshua Maloney and sister-in-law, Ruby. A number of cousins and many close friends. Funeral was held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2pm from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Catalina.
