Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, Hersy Clarke, age 77, beloved wife of Leo Joseph Clarke. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Phoebe (Watkins) Hancock of Deer Lake, sister Lillian and brother Clouston. Survived by her sisters Jean and Viola and brother Alexander. Leaving to mourn daughter Cathy Ann (Lionel) Comeau, sons Gerry, Dale (Jackie), Dean (Anna) and Paul, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home for the excellent care that she received over the last 5 years. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place at St. Pius X Church on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 9:30 AM. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home or a charity of the donors choice.
