On Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the age of 86 years, Reginald Noel Simms of St. Anthony (Jan. 15, 1928 - May 3`, 2014), peacefully left this world. Reg will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Joan; children David (Cynthia) and Maurice (Beverly); grandchildren Heather (Jason), Jason (Catherine), Shayna, Paul and Ryan; great-grandsons, Joshua, Zachary, Maxx, Charlie, Thomas, Dylan and Lucas; sister Dorothy; brother Norman; sister-in-law Jean, and brother-in-law Wayne (Bernette). He will also be missed by a large circle of family and friends. Reginald was predeceased by his parents John and Bertha Simms; brothers Robert, Raymond, Frank and George, and sisters Jean, Jesse and Catherine. Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which was held at St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony, on Tuesday, June 3 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. Burial followed the service in the Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
