It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving daughter and sister, Elizabeth Anne Sollazzo on May 23, 2014 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Anne was born in New Brunswick and was raised in Sydney. She was the daughter of Rose Louise Sollazzo and the late Dominic Sollazzo.
Anne was a K-Mart employee for many years. She was a gentle soul who enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and rug hooking. Anne will be remembered for her kindness and her gentle nature, shared with her family and friends.
Besides her mother, Rose, she is survived by sisters, Rose (Benny) DeLorenzo, Sydney and Lena LeBlanc, Cheticamp.
Anne was predeceased by sisters, Lucy (Andrew) Emanuele, Lorraine (Wayne) MacDonald; brothers, Frank Sollazzo and Tony (Dolly) Sollazzo.
Anne had many cousins, nieces and nephews, who will miss her dearly.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel in Sydney. Reception to follow.
Interment will take place following the reception.
