(March 7, 1925 - June 14, 2014): Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her family a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband John, parents John and Bride Whitty; sisters Mary and Veronica; brothers Mike and Leo; son-in-law Ron Brennan. Leaving to celebrate her life with treasured memories brother Sean (Margaret); daughters Bernice Brennan, Carolann Moffatt (Brian) and Angela Tucker (Calvin); sons Gerald (Helen), Jim (Bernice), Don (Carol), Kevin (Linda), Leo (Rosie), Ron (Glendora), Joe (JoAnn) and John (Linda); grandchildren Barry, Blair, Bradley, Todd, Darryl, Rhonda, Trevor, Tina, Lisa, Rodney, Jordan, Scott, Gerri Lynn, Grant, Chad, Robin, Sara, Jennifer, Matt, Katie, Meghan, Tyler, Jennifer, Bob, Ashley, Danielle and Matthew; great-grand children, Dillon, Anna, Jada, Cameron, Noah, Emily, Bridgette, Kyle, Sophia, Lauren, Jessica, Claire, Lucas, Madison, Evan, Alex, Jack and Quinn. Also leaving with fond memories, a circle of close friends, especially Mary Kinsella, Dr. Evelyn Thomson and Isa Walsh. The family would like say a special thank you to Tammy Tilley, Helen Feehan, Dr. Patrick O'Shea, Dr. Sean Connors, the staff at the Heart Failure Clinic and the Miller Centre. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home in Torbay on Monday, June 16 from 2pm-9pm and Tuesday June 17, from 2pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Frances of Assisi Church, Outer Cove on Wednesday June 18, at 9:30am. Flowers will be graciously accepted or donations can be made to the St. Frances of Assisi Cemetery Fund.
