We, the Dolomount Family, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the many friends, family and caregivers who supported us through the recent loss of Gerry, our much loved father and grandfather.

A special thank you goes to the staff of the Cancer Centre, the Palliative Care Unit, and other health care professionals at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, particularly Doctors Callahan and Lafferty. Your care and counsel were much appreciated.

Many thanks to the family and friends who came to visit Gerry in the hospital, spent time with us at the funeral home and at the funeral mass.

Thanks to the many friends who called, dropped off food, sent lovely flowers, cards, emails, donations and other gifts. You can’t imagine how special it was. We are very grateful.

A special appreciation to Father Maurice O’Quinn, a long-time friend of the family, for his comforting words and his visits with Gerry and the family. Our thanks go to the organist, choir, cantor, and other individuals who helped with the service.

The staff at Fillatre’s were extremely professional and caring. Our gratitude goes out to Laura and Mindy for their presence and help through this very difficult time.

We have been touched by everyone’s kindness, generosity and caring.
