Mrs. Jean D. Knapman of Lower Island Cove passed away in the presence of her loving family at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican on Monday, June 16, 2014. Mrs. Knapman was in her 71st year.
She leaves to mourn her loving family, daughters, Carol (Pat) Knapman and Cathy (Corey) White; brothers and sisters, John (Dolores) Van Donick, Louis (Gloria) Van Donick, Joey (Rose) Van Donick and Francis Martin; father Joseph Van Donick; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard (Christine) Knapman, Carol (Roy) Halliday and Marcella Penney; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband Robert Knapman, mother Tilley Van Domick, father Harold Penny Sr., brother Harold Penny Jr. and brother-in-law John Martin.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Salvation Army Lower Island Cove Corps, Wednesday, 7-9 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.; 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. The funral service will take place Friday, June 20 at 2 p.m. .at the Salvation Army Lower Island Cove Corps with inurnment to take place at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army Lower Island Cove Corps.
