JUDGE, ROBERT - Robert “Bob” Dawson Judge, loving husband of Edna (Johnson) Judge, passed away peacefully at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing, surrounded by his family. Born 1921 in Brookfield Mines, NS he was the son of the late Morris and Sadie (Mosher) Judge. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Harry (Judd); sisters Lorraine, Izora, Salmone, Mary, Frances and Doreen. Robert was a Veteran of WWII serving overseas as a Sapper. He was a member of the 20th Canadian Field Company RCE and Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and sports fan. He worked at the Atlantic Sugar Refinery for 47 years, retiring in 1987. He will be missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Edna; sons Steven Judge, David Judge and William Judge (Christine); grandchildren Aaron Judge and Alexander Judge; great-grandchildren Alexander, Cassidy and Hannah Elizabeth; brother Clinton LeRoy Judge (Elsie) of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitations or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Bob made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
