EARL BUSH
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earl Alfred Bush on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Earl was born in Moose Jaw on June 27, 1928, the second son and third child of Alfred and Katie Bush. On May 31, 1952 Earl married June Machan in Moose Jaw. After several moves, they returned to Moose Jaw, where both of their children were born. Earl worked at the Moose Jaw Times Herald for forty-nine years prior to his retirement. Earl had many hobbies and interests; he loved to be outside in his garden and enjoyed crossword puzzles, swimming, racquetball, trips to the spa and walking at Spring Creek and Wakamow Valley. Earl always enjoyed travel with casino bus trips being a recent favorite. More than anything Earl loved to spend time with his family, especially his three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Predeceased by June, Earl is survived by his children: Jeffrey (Candace) Bush and Susan (Blair) Leptich; grandchildren: Megan (Thomas), Adam and Mark; great-granddaughter Alayna; sister Kay Allen; sister-in-law Leslie Wickstrom; and brother-in-law Allan Griffith, as well as a large extended family. A Celebration of Earl's life will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E. on Thursday June 26, 2014 at 2:00PM. Della Ferguson will officiate.
