Reuben Anderson
December 6, 1935 - June 21, 2014


It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reuben Anderson announces his passing at North Sydney General Hospital on June 21, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters Edith Parsons & Martha Rose Best, and Brother John. He leaves to mourn his wife Margaret of 55 years, sons James, Doug (Tammy), Daughter Collette (Wayne) Gale, precious grandchildren Chantelle, Gina, Kyle, Brooklyn and Chloe, sister Fan (Wilfred) Lemoine Rose Blanche, brothers Andrew (Betty) of Rose Blanche, Dan (Caroline), brothers-in-law John (Jacquline) Roberts, George (Bernice) Roberts, , sister-in-law Florence Gutscher, plus a large circle of family and friends. Reuben spent much of his time making model fishing boats; some of these boats were donation to the Canadian Cancer Society and sold tickets as a fund raiser. Funeral service took place on Thursday, June 26 at 2pm from St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church, Rose Blanche with Catechist Jennifer Renouf officiating.
