(June 4, 1936 - June 28, 2014) - Passed away suddenly, but peacefully at his residence in Flatrock on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Predeceased by his parents Agnes and Michael Wade, and Mary Morgan; brothers Bill (Mary) and Steward. Left to mourn with loving memories are his wife of 47 years, Lena; daughter Lynn Ann Kavanagh (Philip); sons J.J. and Sheldon; eight grandchildren Natasha, Shauna, Tyler, Keisha, Joshua, Joyce, Logan and Brooklyn; one great-grandchild Cohnen; brothers Gerald (Ruby), Jim (Sharon), Tom, and Wally (Joyce); sisters Anna (Brendan), Marg (Al), Alice (Ed), and Pauline (Leo); sisters-in-law Barb, Betty (Gerald) and brother-in-law and special friend Isreal (Sheila); also special neighbours Bob Morey (Cathy), and Jimmy Parsons (Mary); as well as many other relatives and friends especially his furry friend Maggie. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay, on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael Church, Flatrock. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.

Joe will always be remembered for his love of live and food, his sense of humour and wittiness will never be forgotten.
