Born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton and passed away at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Butts (1995). Dear sister of Daniel (Ida) Taylor, George (Leah) Taylor, Robert (Gertrude) Taylor, Weldon (the late Carol) Taylor and Joyce (the late Frank) McDonald.
Predeceased by brother, Douglas and his wife Sadie Taylor and sister, Reta and her husband James Kirkpatrick.
Lil was an active member and part of the altar guild for many years with St. James Anglican Church, Merritton. She enjoyed people watching and hoping to hit it “big” at the casino.
Lil’s family will receive friends at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent St., Thorold on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The family requests you to meet them directly at St. James Anglican Church, 405 Merritt St, Merritton for a funeral service on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lil to St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
