FILLMORE, CAROL ANNE - 1948 - 2014 - Carol Fillmore, of Riverview, passed away unexpectedly in Elgin on Sunday, July 6, 2014. Born in Sussex, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth Campbell (Pollock). Carol cherished time with her loving grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, 4-wheeling at the camp in Parkindale, and motorcycling. She was a graduate of ’69 from the Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing. She thrived in her nursing career of 45 years as helping others was her passion. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Glen, of 43 years; sons, Scott (Jennifer O’Leary) of Moncton; Rob (Johanna Haley) of Riverview; grandchildren, Kate and Alex; sisters, Juanita (Graham) Kelly of Millbrook; Ferne Doyle of Goshen; brother, Stephen (Beth Chiswell) of Sussex; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (869-2007) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 1pm with Rev. Frank Trail officiating.
