Suddenly at home on Saturday, July 5, 2014, of Norberta Weatherbie (nee Corcoran) of Stratford and formerly of Johnston's River, age 63 years. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Weatherbie and loving daughter of Freda Corcoran and the late Norbert Corcoran. Norberta is also survived by sisters: Angela Arsenault (Colin), Jacinta Gilbert (Bruce) and brothers: Geordie (Joyce), Joe (Gerri), Aden (Marie), Paul (Dotty), Kelly (Nancy), Boyd (Sheila) and Edwin (Tanya); sisters-in-law, Shirley Reid, Liz Weatherbie and Marquerite Weatherbie; brothers-in-law, Blaine Weatherbie, Jim Kennedy and Leroy Goodine; godchild - Chelsey Woods and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister Karen, brother Ian and in-laws, Lise Melanson, Marilyn Weatherbie, Leona Kennedy, Marlene Goodine, Lorraine and Jack Flanagan, Theresa and Austin McQuaid, Billy and George Weatherbie and George Reid. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Thursday, July 10, 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, at St. Patrick's Church, Fort Augustus, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Ryan Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to P.E.I. Special Olympics would be appreciated.
