1922 - 2014
Doctor Daniel Stewart, aged 91, died May 26 following a fall sustained while caring for Alexander, the llama. He is survived by his daughters Penny and Fiona, brother Ian in England, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Daniel came to Sechelt in 1994 to retire. During his retirement and throughout his medical career in Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and Ontario, he enjoyed nothing more than making friends with the people he met along the way. We warmly invite those who knew him to join the family for an informal gathering in his memory and the planting of a tree. It will take place on Saturday, July 12, at 4:00 in his garden at 5746 Mason Road with refreshments and conversation following at 5734 Mason Road.
