Brainard Henry Blackmore

Blackmore, Brainard Henry-68, It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Brainard on Thursday, July 17 at home. Born in Port -aux-Basques, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Clevett) Blackmore. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by sons, Robert (Karen), Jim (Wanda Lee), Shane (Toni Lynn), Travis and daughter, Amanda Blackmore, brothers and sisters, George, Gerald, Jim, Eileen, Esther, Judy; grandchildren, Robert, Elaine, Desmond, Brock, Destinee, Dustin, Danielle, Denver, Lucas, Billie, Brady, Gordon , Brian and his former wife Evelyn Organ, also his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Richard and sisters, Lillian and Hannah. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fillatre’s Funeral Home, where visitation was held on Friday, July 18 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Catechist Catherine Short officiating.
