With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mom Josephine 'Josie' on July 26, 2014, at Northside General with her family by her side.
Born in Sydney Mines on May 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Irene (O'toole) Hunt. Mom enjoyed daily chats with her best friends Eleanor McGean and Emily Bradley just to name a few. She held a special place in her heart for animals and will be missed by her furry friends Princess, Marley and Chloe.
Mom is survived by her husband and best friend of 57 years Clayton; daughters, Irene (Dennis), Mira, Anne Marie (April), Sydney Mines; son Johnny (Hamilton); grandsons, Douglas (Alyson), Guelph, Ont., and Nicholas (Melissa) Woods; great-grandchildren, Connor and Kaylin; brothers, Charlie (Rose Marie), Jackie (Mary); several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother Freddy, sister Mary (Slater/Cooke), nephews Reggie, Michael and Raymond.
In keeping with moms wishes there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A private family committal to be held at a later date.
Donations in moms memory may be made to the Northside General Hospital, 4th floor palliative care or a charity of ones choice.
