Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family after a short illness, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Saturday, July 26, 2014, Nora (Nonie) Eustace, aged 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Tom (2003); parents Robert and Sadie Mayo; brothers Lawrence Mayo and Robert Fleming. Leaving to mourn, her children: Joan (Don) Ellison, ON, Dick, (Gloria), NS; Bob (Jenny); Bev (Paddy) Philpott; Tom (Julie), BC, Max (with whom she resided); Liz (Wayne) Bragg; Debbie (Steve) Power and Sally (Gerrald Lotzkar), BC; sister Patsy Fleming, Vermont; and her sister-in-law, Polly Fleming, MA. Fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild. Also left to mourn are a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks are extended to the professional medical staff at 4 West of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital and to Dr. Jackie Elliot for her kind and special care that she gave to mom. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, St. John's. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 28 from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday July 29 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. from Caul's Chapel. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Torbay. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Nora's memory to the charity of your choice.
