BENJAMIN, DAVID - It is with great sadness the family of David Parker Benjamin, loving husband of Marilyn Dawn (Cameron) Benjamin announces his passing which occurred on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1944 in Saint John he was the son of the late Edwin and Mary (Ellis) Benjamin. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one brother and two grandchildren Travis and Faith. David worked as a truck driver for many years. He was an avid gardener, enjoying many hours in his hot house and enjoyed spending time at his fish pond. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his loving wife Marilyn he is survived by his children Karen LeRoy, David Keith (Kathy), Kimberly Thompson (Don), Kevin (Becky) and Karla Whitney (Tom); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitations. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Garnett Settlement Christian Church on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
