MERCER, Marion Elizabeth – Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on January 2, 2009 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home, Marion E. Mercer, age 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Joseph; three sons: David, Jerry and George; sisters: Alma, Edna, Jean, Nance and brother Ron. Leaving to mourn daughters: Lorraine (Ralph), Sandra (Len); son Bill (Helen); sisters: Hilda, Ada and Marg; brother Ted; daughter-in-law Rowena; also a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, January 3, 2009 and Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
