We, the family of the late Nora MacNamara, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in the Out Patient Department and 3rd floor of the Glace Bay Health Care Complex. Their compassion and gentle way was very comforting to us all. Thank you to Seaview Manor and staff, where Mom stayed for the past 10 months. Fond memories will never be forgotten of the Home Care Workers who had such kindness, comfort and compassion for our Mother while she was at home. Special thanks to Father Dan Boudreau and Father Reg Currie who concelebrated the funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church and the kind words spoken about our Mom. Thanks to the altar servers, readers, gift bearers, Eucharistic ministers, church choir and to the ladies of the C.W.L. for the beautiful lunch. The family would also like to express our gratitude to all who supported us during our recent loss by means of flowers, cards, Mass cards, monetary gifts, food to our homes, memorial donations, phone calls, e-mails, visits, those who traveled from afar and all who attended Mom’s funeral. A very special thank you to the staff of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home for their kindness, guidance and professionalism. We feel blessed to have had Mom as long as we did. She will certainly be missed and never forgotten.
