Doris Marie L’Heureux
May 3, 1932 – August 5, 2014
Doris passed away peacefully at the age of 82 at Extendicare on the morning of August 5th. Doris was predeceased by five siblings, Leonard, Bill, Phyllis, Evaline and Sharon. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Andy; her surviving brothers: Jim (Anne) Read, Fred (Eleanor) Read, and Sydney (Luella) Read; her sister Mary Berube (Julien); her daughters: Linda (Jerry) Dawson, Carol (John) Franks, and Tammy (Rick) McDonald; grandchildren: Julie (Kirk) Onrait, Amber Colwell, Dusty (Robert) Tyrer, and Jordan (Keira) Miller; great-grandchildren: Michael and Jayden Onrait, and KatieTyrer. Doris and Andy loved to travel. With Andy in the Air Force, they were able to see many countries in Europe. They also camped and fifth-wheeled throughout Canada and the U.S. Doris loved gardening, crafts, reading, horseshoes, bowling and darts. She was a cancer survivor. Doris was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Anavets. Come celebrate Doris’ life at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday August 9, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St., Regina, S4P 2R3, or the Legion Poppy Fund, c/o 268 High St.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 1S8, would be appreciated.
