It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Shirley Eidt on Wednesday Feb. 17, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Bela and Helen Mozvik.
Shirley was employed at the City Hospital until her retirement. She had a love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her brothers, Ralph (Alberta) Mozvik, Bill (Beverly) Mozvik, Middle Cape; nieces, Lisa Richardson, Natalie (Robert) Miller, Amanda Mozvik; nephews, Tony (Irene), Blair (Nancy), Andrew; four grandnieces and three grandnephews as well as her best friend, Carmella.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 21 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22 in the chapel with Pastor Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
